The Duke of Sussex flew from his home in Montecito to attend the WellChild Awards, of which he has been a patron for many years. On this uplifting evening, the Prince met all the young people who received awards and was joined by WellChild CEO Matt James.

During our conversation with Matt, we went behind the scenes of the recent awards ceremony, where Prince Harry met the winners and presented the award. The CEO also shared some behind-the-scenes anecdotes about the father-of-two, including his adorable off-camera visit during an exciting project in Leeds.

We also discuss the difficult time when Prince Harry was in the UK for the WellChild Awards and lost his grandmother, the late Queen, and how the awards ceremony was held in his absence for the first time.
