  • The seventh season of “Love Is Blind” will feature a cast of singles from the Washington area.

  • One of these singles is Leo, an art dealer who makes a lot of pod connections.

  • Here’s what we know about what happened to Leo after filming ended.

Warning: Spoilers in the sixth episode of the seventh season of “Love Is Blind”.

“Love Is Blind” is back – and it has found its newest polarizing hero.

That would be Leo, a 31-year-old art dealer whose main insecurity about dating is that a woman might only be interested in him because of his wealth. He deals with it in capsules, without hiding his lucrative career or his considerable personal wealth in general – and the program’s editorial team focuses on this selflessly.

Unfortunately, when you appear on Love Is Blind, it means your dating gaffes and personal quirks are exposed to a huge audience. Netflix’s dating franchise attracts millions of views: according to the platform, the sixth season had 20.9 million views in the first half of the year (hours watched divided by total watch time). There’s no doubt that the flagship series has boosted the streamer’s profitability, as Netflix shares hit an all-time high of $725 this month.

To be fair to Leo, he takes his less than favorable edit of the show in stride and posts jokes about posting his tax returns on social media. Even though he wasn’t one of the cast members who went on a couples vacation to Mexico (more on that later), he’s still one of the most memorable parts of the season.

Here’s what we know about where he is currently.

Leo creates two connections in the pods, but the experience ends badly for him

Moving on to the appearance-hiding part of Love Is Blind, Leo tells the remaining male cast members in the first episode that he is not on the show to improve his own profile.

“I grew up very well off financially,” he said. “I’m not trying to make a career as an influencer. I’m a fucking rich art dealer. I grew up going to the country club, going to private school. I paid for my studies.”

Leo develops strong bonds with 33-year-old beautician Brittany, who wants to be taken care of in a relationship, and 26-year-old Hannah, who quit her job to take part in the show. In the second episode, he tells Brittany that he feels equally confident in his relationship with both her and Hannah.

This eventually leads to some tension. After Leo asks Brittany about what ring she might like in episode three, she disagrees with his indecision after he tells her he plans to have the same conversation with Hannah.

For a moment, it seems like the problem will resolve itself when Hannah tells Leo in episode three that she and Nick D., another cast member, have confessed their love for each other. Leo doesn’t take the breakup attempt well, demanding to know if Hannah will agree to marry him if she asks at this point, and it reduces her to tears.

During another meeting in episode four, Hannah and Leo agree to end their relationship after Hannah tells him that she has stronger feelings for Nick. Leo asks Hannah to tell Brittany that their breakup was mutual so that Brittany doesn’t think she is his second choice. Hannah refuses – but does tell Brittany he asked her to do it.

In episode four, Brittany tells Leo that she is still “hurt” by the way he handled his relationship with her and Hannah. Leo tries to propose, but Brittany turns him down and tells him to ask again. In episode five he tries again and she agrees.

But when the two meet during the reveal, the tension is palpable. Brittany still can’t tell Leo that she loves him, and the couple agrees that if they aren’t selected for the show’s couples trip to Mexico, they will go to Miami together instead.

Mexico wasn’t supposed to be like this and neither was this couple.

“Brittany and Leo were not one of the six couples selected by producers to continue their journey through Mexico,” reads an on-screen card right after Leo and Brittany’s first in-person meeting. “They went to Miami on their own and broke off their engagement a few weeks later.”

Leo and Brittany’s relationship “didn’t work out” after episode 6

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly published on Wednesday, Brittany explained how her relationship with Leo developed after filming ended and how it ultimately ended.

Brittany told EW that she and Leo spent two days in Los Angeles, where the pod is filmed, before heading to Miami. And although they had a great time on the trip, after a few days they realized that their relationship was not going to work out.

“Nothing serious happened,” Brittany told EW. “Honestly, sometimes I wish it had been like that because maybe it would have given a better explanation as to why things didn’t work out. You really just know when it’s right and when it’s just not right, and we’ll be better as friends.”

She told EW that their breakup was “super mutual” and “nothing crazy happened” when they decided to call it quits.

Leo made fun of himself on the show after it premiered

On Instagram, Leo doesn’t take things too seriously. After Netflix posted a video of him making “mwah mwah mwah mwah mwah” kissing noises on the show, he reposted it to his own Instagram story.

“Listen to it repeatedly if you want to lose your sanity,” he captioned the post.

On Wednesday, Leo posted a screenshot of an exchange with reality TV blogger Reality Ashley discussing his net worth.

“Release my tax returns?” He asked in the survey.

Leo also posted a video on Instagram in which he reacted to Netflix changing his Instagram bio to “art dealer,” referring to him on the show.

“I thought that shows and cinema were art. And Netflix sells us shows and cinema. In a sense, they are also art dealers,” he said in the film. “From one rich art dealer to another richer art dealer, you know, respect.”

Leo continues to work for the family business based in New York

According to the company’s website, Leo runs his family’s art business, Capital Art Advisory, which he took over in 2015 and moved to New York, where Brittany told EW she currently lives. It serves domestic and international clients and advises on NFT collections.

He is active on Instagram, where he is followed by other cast members, including Hannah and Brittany (for what it’s worth, he still follows them both).

Leo regularly posts videos on Instagram and TikTok about art world topics such as price negotiations and whether the woman in da Vinci’s famous Mona Lisa painting is smiling.

She’s also been promoting “Love Is Blind” on Instagram, teasing the seventh season with her portrait of the cast.

“Hey Leo, how’s your love life?” – he signed the video.

The next episodes of the seventh season of “Love Is Blind” will be broadcast on Wednesday, October 9 Netflix.
