Watch the stars take their “last turn” with Pat Sajak as “Celebrity Wheel of Fortune” returns.

Pat Sajak will have some pretty familiar faces welcoming him back to some pretty familiar territory.

The longtime “Wheel of Fortune” host, who left the iconic show in June, will return to host the primetime series “Celebrity Wheel of Fortune.”

The new preview for the upcoming season introduces some of the big names that will appear on the series, and also hints at what it calls Sajak’s “final spin.”

“The stars come out for Pat’s final spin! See you on October 14 for the #CelebrityWheelOfFortune season premiere,” the program wrote under its Instagram post from October 3. It’s unclear whether the “final turn” means this will be Sajak’s last season on this version of the game show.

The list of stars who will take part in “Celebrity Wheel of Fortune” is long, including “The Office” castmates Rainn Wilson, Ellie Kemper and Oscar Nuñez. Other big names include Tiffany Haddish, Josh Gad, Katharine McPhee, Andrew Rannells, Joe Manganiello, Pete Holmes and Randall Park.

On July 10, about a month after Sajak officially said goodbye to “Wheel of Fortune,” ABC announced that the veteran host would return to host “Celebrity Wheel of Fortune” later this year.

In a press release, the station confirmed its fall schedule, which included Sajak’s name on the “Celebrity Wheel of Fortune” program.

Pat Sajak is set to return to the “Celebrity Wheel of Fortune” for its “final spin.”

Viewers thought they had seen the last of Sajak steering the wheel when his final episode of “Wheel of Fortune” aired on June 7. He delivered a sweet message to fans who have watched him over the years, especially those who have been with us since he began hosting the show in 1981.

“Well, it’s time to say goodbye. Before I go, I have a few thanks and tributes. And I want to start with all of you who are out there,” he said in the closing moments of the episode.

He continued: “It has been an incredible privilege to be invited into millions of homes night after night, year after year, decade after decade. I have always felt that with this privilege comes the responsibility to make that daily half hour a safe place for family fun. No social problems, no politics, nothing embarrassing, I hope. Just a game.

But over the years, the game has evolved into a shared experience for families and friends of different generations, he said.

“What an honor to have played even a small part in this. Thank you for allowing me to enter your lives,” he added.

When Ryan Seacrest replaced him on “Wheel of Fortune,” Sajak already had a number of projects lined up.

In addition to his upcoming appearance on “Celebrity Wheel of Fortune,” he plans to star in the play “Prescription: Murder” next year.

In June, the Hawaii Theater Center confirmed that Sajak would share the stage with “longtime pal” and Hawaii news anchor Joe Moore. The center said the production is a “theatrical predecessor” and “inspiration” for the crime drama “Columbo.” In the play, Sajak will play a “brilliant psychiatrist” who devises a plan to murder his wife.

“Prescription Murder” is scheduled to premiere on July 31, 2025 and will run until August 10, 2025.
