In 2021, fans were devastated when Hallmark Channel canceled “The Good Witch” after seven seasons. However, Catherine Bell and James Denton performed together on Christmas at Cherry Lane in 2023. Now Catherine has excited her fans on Instagram by sharing the news about their new movie together, “Happy Holidays on Cherry Lane.”

According to People magazine, the cast of Hallmark’s Good Witch attended a mini reunion during the fifth annual Christmas gathering in New Jersey. Catherine Bell then excited her Good Witch fans by sharing a photo related to the new Hallmark+ movie, Happy Holidays on Cherry Lane. The sequel to Christmas on Cherry Lane will air on Thursday, December 12, 2024.

In an Instagram post, Catherine wrote:

It’s official!!! “Happy Holidays from Cherry Lane” premieres on Thursday, December 12 on @hallmarkplus. Find out how Nelson and Regina met!

Fans of the Good Witch were delighted with Bell’s post and were clearly excited to see her and Denton on screen again.

What is “Happy Holidays from Cherry Lane” about?

Variety recently published a synopsis for the new Hallmark+ movie, writing that the film follows three families who gather at different times to celebrate the holidays. Moreover, fans will see how the families deal with several difficult scenarios, which will hopefully bring them closer together during one of the most festive times of the year.

Meanwhile, fans who saw the first Christmas on Cherry Lane movie will remember that Bell and Denton aren’t the only popular Hallmark stars in the movie. The film stars Julie Gonzalo and Benjamin Ayres as a couple whose story takes place in the 1960s. Meanwhile, the story of Catherine and James as Regina and Nelson begins in 1998. The film also stars Erica Durance and Ryan Rottman.

In 1960, Eli and Penny take in Eli’s grumpy father, Walter, and are forced to navigate difficult family waters to survive the holidays while working on a Christmas-themed time capsule for son Alex’s school project.

In 1998, we see Regina and Nelson first meet: they are stuck together when a blizzard strands Nelson in Regina’s house on Christmas Eve.

In 2015, Jessie faces a big challenge while planning her sister’s last-minute Christmas Eve wedding – the officiant is Tim, her high school sweetheart whom she hasn’t seen in almost 20 years.
