Strictly Come Dancing 2024: Fans celebrate ‘right result’ for bottom two and elimination leaked

Strictly Come Dancing fans were quick to react to the revealed results, which revealed the top two contestants and the pair sent packing

Strong enthusiasts hailed the final elimination as the “right result” after the final two eliminations and the departing pair were revealed ahead of tonight’s broadcast.

The BBC’s favorite dance competition is gaining momentum, with the stars and their professional partners dazzling us with fresh routines every week.

During the recent Film Week, participants represented The Little Mermaid, George of the Jungle, Barbie and Lara Croft.

The evening produced impressive results, with Miranda’s Sarah Hadland, singer Shayne Ward and comedian Chris McCausland all scoring at least 30 points, the Mirror reports.

However, it was former Love Islander Tasha Ghouri who stole the show, scoring 34 points for her rumba to Billie Eilish’s “What Was I Made For?”

True Strictly fans are aware that while the results will be broadcast on BBC One the following evening, the actual competition will be filmed on Saturday.

And “truly” online leaks, which the Echo chose not to reveal, revealed the final two people and the eliminated couple.

Despite the early spoiler, fans expressed satisfaction with the result on X, formerly known as Twitter, with one user commenting: “Very happy with this result, so glad they are gone.”

The second expressed gratitude: “I would like to thank the British public for once for getting it right.”

Another enthusiast shared: “Correct result and correct the bottom two results, one disappeared, now need to pull out the other one.”

And yet another agreed: “Absolutely the right result, although they had no chance with the song choice, didn’t they.”

However, not everyone agreed, with user X noting: “Bottom two on the right. The wrong person came home imo.”

This sentiment was echoed by someone else, saying: “Personally I would have preferred the second player to have been sent home, but it was definitely the right two.”

We remind you that last week, Olympic swimmer Tom Dean and his dance partner Nadiya Bychkova said goodbye, and who will be the first to leave the stage in 2024, as the first couple?

Strictly Come Dancing continues tonight, Sunday, October 6 at 7.15pm on BBC One.
