Currently third in their group with just one point, the Black Stars are looking to collect all six points from these matches to increase their chances of qualifying for AFCON 2025 in Morocco.

Winning both matches against Sudan is crucial for Ghana to increase their chances of qualifying for the tournament, which will be held in Morocco in 2025.

With the qualifying series set to begin next week, Manso expressed his belief in an interview YEN.com.gh that both Ghana and Angola are the strongest candidates for the tournament to be held in Morocco.

“It will be difficult to qualify from the group, but I still give Ghana and probably Angola a chance to get out of the group,” he said.

“Sudan also have a good squad and are doing well under our Kwasi Appiah. However, I feel Ghana will beat them and even get a reasonable result in Angola to qualify.

“Niger boasts a solid team, so I really think every national team in our group has a chance to advance. It will be a competitive group, but I am optimistic that Angola will qualify and Ghana will be favorites to lead the group,” he concluded.
