Nicky Hilton and her husband James Rothschild have been married for almost 10 years, and now the heiress is starting to reveal details of her marriage contracts.

The 41-year-old designer, who celebrated her birthday on October 5 with sister Paris Hilton by her side, spoke to People magazine at MyTheresa’s launch party and shared her insights on what makes their relationship work.

Hilton revealed: “My husband and I travel a lot for work, but we don’t leave the kids alone. That’s why we try to share our business trips and make sure we are always present.

She also praised her parents Kathy and Richard Hilton for showing her an “amazing template” for a strong relationship.

Nicky told People magazine: “I have been a huge fan of Rebecca’s designs for many years. (I) wore them.

“Me, my mom, my sister – we all love them. So being able to collaborate with one of my favorite designers is truly a dream come true. We have a similar aesthetic, DNA, and I think it shows in all the songs.

On whether their partnership worked, the mother of three explained: “She flew to New York, we met in Europe and we really worked very collaboratively on this collection.”

According to the official website, the duo produced a limited-edition collection that “features impeccably tailored, statement dresses that embody Rebecca Vallance’s iconic brand codes, reimagined through the prism of Hilton.”

The designs emulate “the unique feel of the holidays through a timeless color palette,” which, Nicky noted, also includes some non-traditional shades.

“I think when it comes to a holiday collection, people usually think about jewelry shades, but I really wanted to think outside the box.

“I wanted to add some ice blue, which is my favorite color,” she noted.

Promoting her new look on Instagram over the weekend, Nicky wrote in the caption to her nearly two million followers: “I’m already feeling festive – 61 days until Christmas!”
