Behind the scenes camera roll: Ben Böhmer at Portola 2024

Behind the scenes camera roll: Ben Böhmer at Portola 2024

If you missed the festivities last weekend in San Francisco, we captured much of the action at Portola 2024 in the photosand FLOOD photographer Wilson Lee captures the third year of the Bay Area’s tastefully curated dance music festival. Held again at Pier 80 on the waterfront, this year’s lineup featured a diverse lineup that featured titans of progressive electronic music (Justice, RÜFÜS DU SOL, Disclosure) and dance-friendly fringe artists of various genres (JPEGMAFIA, Peaches, Jessie Ware) – including in addition to the return of the family heroes Deltron 3030 and the HorsegiirL spectacle.

Although we may have missed one of the most important attractions of the weekend – an energetic DJ set from a German producer Ben Böhmer— we were lucky that the musician himself documented the event with photos taken before, during and after his Sunday afternoon performance. Featuring guest appearances from friends, fans and other performers (keep an eye out for Barry Can’t Swim), check out his behind-the-scenes cam roll recorded by Gaurang Alat below.
