Gwen Stefani brightened up her Instagram story with a rare photo of her niece Stella, commemorating the teenager’s 15th trip around the sun.

On Sunday, October 6, the 55-year-old “Hollaback Girl” singer posted a selfie of the duo smiling from ear to ear. Stefani then took fans behind the scenes and gave us a peek at the party decor.

The scenery was reminiscent of a teenage dream: a tower of various donuts, napkins with pink bows, flower arrangements in various shades and a simple but elegant chocolate cake with the words “Happy Birthday, Sissy!” on top with white icing.

But the celebrations did not end with beautiful baked goods and flowers. Stefani also posted a clip in which the iconic song “Happy Birthday” filled the room, surrounding a giggling Stella who was clearly enjoying every moment of her special day.

The event was a double celebration at the award-winning artist’s $14 million Encino mansion, which she shares with her husband, country superstar Blake Shelton. It was a milestone not only for Stella, who is the daughter of Stefani’s sister Jill, but also a fan favorite Voice The trainer herself turned 55 last Thursday. The No Doubt icon and Shelton, 48, met while filming the movie Voice in 2014. They started dating shortly thereafter and married in July 2021.
