Washington Capitals vs New York Rangers at Capital One Arena

After being upset by the Tampa Bay Lightning, the Washington Capitals are back on the ice to take on the New York Rangers and former bench boss Peter Laviolette.

The game will be a tough test for the Caps as the Rangers have a large roster of talent and currently own the best scoring percentage in the NHL (.831). This will be the two teams’ first meeting since last May when the Rangers swept the Capitals out of the first round of the playoffs.

Logan Thompson will start in net for the Caps.
