Tommy Setford will make his first team debut for us tonight in the Carabao Cup fourth round tie away to Championship side Preston North End.

The 18-year-old goalkeeper joined us from Ajax in the summer but was injured in the third round win over Bolton Wanderers last month. He becomes the 911th player to represent Arsenal’s men’s first team.

Tommy Setford: Get to know tonight’s debutant

William Saliba returns from his one-match ban to start in central defense alongside Jakub Kiwior, while Jurrien Timber – who was rested in the second half of our 2-2 draw with Liverpool on Sunday – is set to start at right-back . Oleksandr Zinchenko completes the back four at left back.

Jorginho leads the team in midfield, with Mikel Merino and Ethan Nwaneri also starting.

Gabriel Jesus leads the line up front with Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Martinelli on the wings. From Sunday’s squad, Neto (cup-like), Ben White and Gabriel all miss out.

The hosts, currently 16th in the Championship, make six changes from the side that drew with Plymouth at the weekend. Former Gunners youth player Sam Greenwood is among those to start.
