Why Liverpool’s Luis Diaz CONCERN is growing fast

Diaz wages astronomically low

The forward’s salary is something of a shock. According to CapologyDiaz earns £55,000 a week which for a footballer especially at Premier League standard and for the amount of games he has played in is considerably low.

To put that into perspective, that’s less than Kostas Tsimikas, who earns £75,000 a week by comparison.

Furthermore, his left-wing compatriot Cody Gakpo earns over half of Diaz’s £120,000-a-week total. This may seem incredibly harsh considering the Reds’ number 7 is ahead of Gakpo in the pecking order this season.

It seems unfair. But can Liverpool afford to pay him more?

With contract negotiations between Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk and Trent-Alexander ArnoldIf agreements are reached, we can expect the salary of these sixty to increase significantly.

This will leave players like Diaz in the dark. His demands may be neglected, leading to an early exit from the club.

His contract is set to expire in 2027, but the player and his agent will put his happiness and needs ahead of the club’s wishes.

Slot will be keen to hold on to the player. What he offers the team is more than goals. Its creativity, passion, flair and hard work.

However, it has recently been reported that Diaz is ‘open to offers’ from sponsors as he looks to capitalize on his growing reputation. With Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain sniffing around and anxiously awaiting his decision, a huge decision is coming for Liverpool.

They will not be able to avoid it.
